The Bills’ offseason has been defined in large part by their extension efforts with key in-house players. Quarterback Josh Allen‘s recent top-up has him near the top of the position’s pecking order, and a quartet of starters on their rookie contracts now have lucrative second deals in place.

One of the biggest loses the Buffalo Bills suffered this offseason was the loss of veteran cornerback Rasul Douglas, who became a free agent in March. Thus far, the only cornerback the Bills have added in response is Dane Jackson, who doesn't project to be a starter.

Bills GM Brandon Beane negotiated several important contract extensions but the team wasn't quite on the same page with its starting running back.
