Names like Ryan Wingo and Trevor Goosby are familiar to most Texas football fans by now. Having already made an impact in 2024, they look set to be part of the next wave of stars primed to move into more prolific roles after the departures of key players.

There are 31 players who hail from a Dallas-area high school about to take the field for the playoffs. There are eight teams with three or more local products, with the Rams setting the high mark with four. That includes perhaps the highest-profile player from Dallas, Super Bowl-winning quarterback Matthew Stafford.
