My gaming PC has suffered enough — I'm locking down updates until NVIDIA's drivers and Microsoft's Windows releases gain back my trust

Shouldn't I be able to leave automatic updates enabled on my gaming PC? Apparently not. Here's why I'm handling everything on a per-case basis going forward.
