Kyle Connor scored 1:13 into overtime to lift the Winnipeg Jets to a 4-3 victory over the Edmonton Oilers, who lost Connor McDavid and Stuart Skinner to injuries Thursday night.

EDMONTON -- Kyle Connor scored 1:13 into overtime to give the Winnipeg Jets a 4-3 win against the Edmonton Oilers at Rogers Place on Thursday. Connor took a drop pass from Mark Scheifele and scored with a wrist shot from the top of the right circle past the blocker of Calvin Pickard.

Oilers captain Connor McDavid sustained a lower-body injury and has been ruled out from playing in the third period in Edmonton’s home game against the Western Conference-leading Winnipeg Jets
