A landspout tornado is a less intense tornado. It's usually weaker and shorter-lived than the classic tornadoes we see in severe weather outbreaks, but one in Monday tore through Franktown, damaging seven businesses.

A landspout tornado ripped through an area south of Denver on Monday, tearing roofs off several buildings. Watch this to see the storm as it passed through the town of Franktown. Luckily, there were no injuries as a result of this weather phenomenon.

A fast-moving landspout tornado struck more than a half-dozen businesses in Franktown in Douglas County on Monday afternoon, authorities said. The Douglas County Sheriff’s Office said on social media that everyone in the area has been accounted for.
