Season 16 of the popular quiz show 'Kaun Banega Crorepati' (KBC) has found its first crorepati in contestant Chander Prakash.

Chander Prakash, a 22-year-old UPSC aspirant from Jammu and Kashmir, went on to become the first 'crorepati' of KBC 16 on September 24, 2024. Though he could not answer the Rs. 7 crore question, Chander still went home with an amount Rs. 1 crore from the show. Chander also got a car as well as a hug from Amitabh Bachchan.
