After leaving boyhood club Newcastle United, Sean Longstaff spoke about what made him want to make the move to Leeds United.
Leeds United have added Sean Longstaff to their ranks ahead of the Premier League's return next month. The 27-year-old became the Whites' fifth signing of the summer on Friday night as he sealed a move to Elland Road in a deal worth an initial £12 million.
Longstaff has signed a deal to 2029 at Elland Road. He told the Leeds website: “I remember obviously playing here as a little kid, nine, 10 years old. It is funny where life takes you. So to be back here now with the plans for the club and stuff, I think it is just really exciting to get going.
Plenty of Leeds fans on social media gave their thoughts on each of their players, with one debutant in particular getting plenty of praise. Bijol played the first half for Leeds, and he delivered a solid display which led to Whites fans backing him to do well in the Premier League.
