Magic: The Gathering Announces Avatar: The Last Airbender Set
The trailer features the MTG logo doing some impressive airbending, with the familiar sounds of the show’s original opening in the background. And the caption understood the assignment, as it begins with the well-known line “Long ago, the four nations lived in harmony, but everything changed when the Fire Nation attacked.”
MTG Avatar: The Last Airbender set revealed
According to the announcement, MTG Avatar: The Last Airbender will be hitting shelves on November 21. It's unclear what the set will involve in terms of products, but we can probably expect something similar to the Assassin's Creed crossover last year. (Play and Collector boosters at a minimum, in other words.)
Commentary: Nickelodeon's upcoming series, Avatar: Seven Havens, has me thinking about the themes of the original show.
