Last week, Green Bay Packers cornerback Nate Hobbs was making headlines for how hard he was practicing. Or rather, he was the subject of numerous stories because he was practicing too hard, earning himself a place on the bench during drills and a lecture (or two) from head coach Matt LaFleur.

Packers cornerback Nate Hobbs had knee surgery to repair a partial tear in his meniscus, a source confirmed to PackersNews on Aug. 5.
