A new rivalry is about to be born on Aug. 30, now that both Ohio State and Texas have their starting quarterbacks.

The Texas football program is hoping that 2025 is the year they will be able to hoist a National Championship trophy after knocking on the door the last two years.

There’s so much speculation about Texas quarterback Arch Manning’s future, in the media and even within his own family, that it can be hard for even him to keep up

After what was generally considered a weak year at the position, the 2026 NFL draft is shaping up to be a quarterback bonanza.

“My dad always made a joke, he was like, ‘I’m glad Arch is the one who gets the attention because if Heid did, he’d be wearing a cape to school,’” Heid said.
