The Buffs were 2-touchdown underdogs on the road at UCF on Saturday, but they cruised to a 48-21 win over the Golden Knights. Shedeur Sanders threw for 290 yards and 3 touchdowns while Travis Hunter continued his elite play on both sides of the ball.

But as Paul Finebaum reminded viewers on SEC Nation Saturday, not many people had much success against Nick Saban’s Alabama program. With Saban retired and Kalen DeBoer now coaching the Crimson Tide, Smart has a chance to reverse that trend.

The No. 4-ranked Alabama Crimson Tide held off the No. 2-ranked Georgia Bulldogs 41-34 in a game for the ages on Saturday night. The Bulldogs erased a 28-0 deficit and even took a 34-33 lead with a little over two minutes remaining in the fourth quarter.
