Flyers Forward Fined For Cross-Checking
NHL Player Safety has fined Philadelphia Flyers forward Scott Laughton $5,000 for cross-checking New York Islanders forward Maxim Tsyplakov. This is the maximum allowable fine under the CBA. Laughton's cross-check occurred at the 15:30 mark of the third period. The Flyers forward was given a two-minute minor for cross-checking on the play.
