Jarren Duran and the Red Sox won't have to go to arbitration after all, as they reached an agreement on a one-year deal.

The Red Sox on Friday reached a one-year deal with outfielder Jarren Duran, avoiding an arbitration hearing after the Sox had filed at $3.5 million and Duran at $4 million. Duran’s deal is worth $3.75 million for 2025 and includes a club option for $8 million in 2026 with a $100,000 buyout.

The Red Sox will not go to arbitration with any of their players this year after agreeing to terms with lefty Garrett Crochet ($3.8 million) and righties Tanner Houck ($3.95 million) and Kutter Crawford ($2.75 million). They haven’t gone to a hearing since beating Eduardo Rodriguez in one in 2020.
