Ange Postecoglou has reinforced Tottenham Hotspur's "need" for new signings as soon as possible after confirming the club were interested in Randal Kolo Muani.

Ange Postecoglou has revealed that Tottenham were interested in Juventus-bound forward Randal Kolo Muani, but says he is "as confident as you can be" of adding to his squad this month.

Tottenham have yet to make any outfield signings in the January transfer window, having only welcomed goalkeeper Antonin Kinsky from Sparta Prague on a six-and-a-half-year deal.
