The 77th edition of Writers Guild Awards, 2025 has been announced and many recent hits have made the cut in the original and adapted screenplay categories.

The Writers Guild of America announced the nominees for their awards on Wednesday, and fan favorites like Hit Man (written by Glen Powell and Richard Linklater) and Challengers (written by Justin Kuritzkes) are receiving some love they may have been denied elsewhere.

The guild was set to announce this year's nominees on Monday after postponing the announcement from last week.
