Did it move those icons to the "Unused Desktop Icons" or whatever folder? Or maybe it moved it to this folder, and then you deleted the folder and it fucked something up?

If the Desktop icons keep reappearing after deletion in Windows 11/10, here are some suggestions to help you resolve the issue.

I use Icon Restore (here at download.com). It gives me two extra menu items when I right-click my Recycle Bin or My Computer icons - one for Save Layout and one for Restore Layout.
