The Tor Project has released Tor Browser 13.5, bringing several improvements and enhancements for Android and desktop versions.

The Tor Project team has announced the release of Tor Browser 12.0, a major version release introducing support for Apple Silicon chips and several enhancements for the Android version.

Tor Browser for Android is probably the best browser for privacy. It connects to Tor’s proxy network and hides what you’re doing from your ISP and, basically, everybody else.

Tor is a network designed to route traffic through multiple servers. The Tor Browser is a specific web browser, based on Firefox, that utilizes the Tor protocol to enable private browsing.

Mullvad Browser, a collaboration between the nonprofit and Mullvad VPN, offers an anti-tracking browser designed to be used with a VPN.

Tor Browser 12.0 adds a number of different enhancements, including multilocale support on desktop, upgrades to the Android app, and more.

The Mullvad Browser (which is different from the Tor Browser, also very much a thing) is focused on your “digital fingerprint,” or rather, it’s focused on trying to make that disappear.
