New details have emerged about a proposed Costco Wholesale Corp. store in the nation's fastest-growing city. The store would be in Celina's The Village at Ownsby Farm, a major retail center being developed off Preston Road by The Seitz Group's Eric Seitz. Costco could open in the first quarter of 2026, Seitz said.

Tri-Union Seafoods is recalling certain canned tuna products sold at Costco, H-E-B, Kroger, Trader Joe’s, Walmart and other stores.

Several brands of canned tuna, sold at Trader Joe’s, Costco (COST), and Walmart (WMT) locations across the country, have been recalled over concerns of clostridium botulinum, a bacterium that can produce a fatal neurotoxin.

More retailers are following suit. Costco customers are now limited to three packages of eggs, the warehouse retailer has confirmed. A spokesperson for Sam’s Club confirmed a limit of two packages per customer while noting the company is working to continue to meet egg demands.

David Kennerley will replace interim CFO Todd Foley, who plans to retire from the grocer at the end of its fiscal first quarter.

Tuna sold in 26 states and in Washington, D.C., was recalled over concerns that it may have been contaminated. The stores affected include Trader Joe’s, Genova, Van Camp’s and H-E-B.

The tuna was shipped to major chains nationwide, has a defect causing it to leak or be contaminated and cause food poisoning which can cause death.
