The New York Islanders have acquired defenceman Scott Perunovich from the St. Louis Blues. In exchange, the Blues will receive a conditional fifth-round pick in the 2026 NHL Draft. Perunovich has played in 24 games this season and recorded six points. The 26-year-old has played in 97 career games scoring 29 points.

After the Blues scratched Perunovich for the previous nine games, he was traded to the Islanders on Monday afternoon in exchange for a conditional 2026 fifth-round draft pick.
