Hilary Knight scored her first career hat trick, Aerin Frankel made 38 saves and the Boston Fleet completed a season sweep of the New York Sirens with a 5-2 win.

Elizabeth Giguère scored first with a tip off Sarah Fillier’s backhand shot 7:21 into the game, and New York nearly doubled its lead after a Sophie Shirley turnover led to a breakaway. Boston goaltender Aerin Frankel made one of her 38 saves, though, to maintain the 1-0 Fleet deficit.

The five goals were a season high for the Fleet who have won five of six and leaped over Toronto into second place by 2 points.
