Starting on June 30, Costco’s hours are changing. But this change is only for select members, so you’ll need to confirm your membership status before you head to your local warehouse. As we previously reported earlier this month, Costco is going to open one hour earlier next week for Executive members.
Costco will begin offering earlier shopping hours exclusively for executive members starting July 7, at warehouse clubs across the country.

Costco also said that all warehouse departments will participate in the new hours, including the food court. The pharmacy will also participate in the new hours, with the exception of Sundays, when the pharmacy department is closed.
For many, the move reads like nothing more than a money grab on Costco's part to get more people to update to the Executive tier. As one Reddit user wrote, "This is disappointing. I am a long time member and have noticed more pushiness than ever from employees to upgrade."
