Phyllis Logan ( Downton Abbey, Shetland ), Max Irons ( Condor, The Wife ), and and Liv Hill ( The Serpent Queen, Elizabeth Is Missing) are also seen in their roles for the first time. Adapted from Gill Hornby's best-selling novel of the same name, the story is told from Cassandra Austen's perspective, the sister of Jane Austen, and is set decades after Jane's death in which an elderly Cassandra recalls her youth and relationship with her late sibling.
