The ongoing LeBron James vs. the Los Angeles Lakers saga continues to evolve every single day. One moment it appears he may be on his way out of LA. While other times it looks as if LeBron will finish his career off as a Laker.

That baton was passed as soon as L.A. finalized the trade that sent out James' handpicked sidekick, Anthony Davis, to acquire Luka Dončić, a 26-year-old megastar more than capable of piloting the Purple and Gold well past the LeBron era.

The NBA announced on July 9 the six groups for the third edition of the annual tournament, featuring three groups in each conference. The Grizzlies are grouped with the Lebron James' Los Angeles Lakers, James Harden's Los Angeles Clippers, Anthony Davis' Dallas Mavericks and the New Orleans Pelicans.
