On Wednesday night, the Phoenix Suns played the Houston Rockets (in Texas). The Suns lost by a score of 119-111. Kevin Durant finished the loss with 37 points, five rebounds, nine assists and two steals while shooting 15/22 from the field and 2/5 from the three-point range in 42 minutes.

There were talks of a reunion with the Golden State Warriors, with whom he won NBA titles in the 2017 and 2018 seasons, but the two-time NBA Finals MVP Durant had no interest in returning to the Bay. Ultimately, he remained in Phoenix as the Suns could not make a move to bolster the team or find one that Durant would be willing to go to.

The Phoenix star cherishes every return visit to Chase Center, and playing the All-Star Game this weekend in front of so many Bay Area fans who still love and appreciate all he accomplished for the Warriors will mean the world.
