Backup Teddy Bridgewater filled in and led a touchdown drive. Commanders guard Sam Cosmi suffered a knee injury when Brian Robinson ran for a go-ahead touchdown early in the second quarter.

A veteran guard is still out there available to fill in for Sam Cosmi. The Commanders' starting right guard tore an ACL in the Washington upset win over the Detroit Lions in the playoffs.
