A new output deal will see Lionsgate movies continue to premiere on the STARZ cable channel and streaming service after the two companies split. One of the sneaky unknown questions surrounding the split of the Lionsgate movie studio from the STARZ cable channel and streaming bundle was whether Lionsgate films would still go to STARZ first once the break up was complete.

The agreement will see titles like ‘Now You See Me 3’ and ‘The Hunger Games: Sunrise on the Reaping’ land on the streamer after leaving cinemas and Starz’s earlier exclusive first-run window.

Max and Starz are joining forces in a new streaming bundle launching on Prime Video in the U.S. The offering will cost $20.99 a month, about 25% less than the price of signing up to each one individually.

The offering, which is available on the Amazon-owned streamer for a limited time, marks savings of approximately 25%

Amazon’s Prime Video entered into a multiyear theatrical output agreement with Lionsgate, under which it will get an exclusive streaming window on the studio’s films starting with its 2026 slate after an initial run on Starz.

Amazon and Lionsgate have struck a streaming deal to have as many as 20 Lionsgate theatrical releases stream on Prime Video each year.
