The 2025 College World Series continued on Sunday, featuring two important clashes in Bracket 1. In the first matchup, Louisville eliminated Arizona from the tournament with an impressive 8-3 victory in Omaha. No. 13 Coastal Carolina defeated No. 8 Oregon State 6-2 to remain in the winner's bracket.
The winners and losers from Day 3 of the 2025 College World Series in Omaha included mid-majors, poor defense and Paul Skenes.
Arizona starter Smith Bailey held that 3-1 lead until the seventh inning, when Louisville led off with a Garret Pike double and bunt single from Neighbors. Bailey was relieved by Garrett Hicks, who allowed a sacrifice fly by Lucas Moore.
Who is the best pitcher these players faced this season? Best hitter? What's one thing that we don't know about the head coaches?

Six conferences and an independent will be represented at the College World Series. None were among the final eight in Omaha a year ago.
Gavin Turley hit a walk-off double to give his team a 4-3 win after the Beavers blew a two-run lead in the top of the ninth. Aiva Arquette, one of the top prospects for the 2025 MLB Draft, set it up with a one-out single, then motored first-to-home on Turley's line drive into left field.
