California’s insurance department asked a state biologist to review videos that had been submitted by people seeking payouts for vehicle damage.

Four people are under arrest for allegedly using a bear costume to damage their luxury vehicles and filing false insurance claims, authorities said.

This is definitely unique, but we have seen ... that people will do a lot of things to try and get an undeserved insurance payout,” an official told news outlets.
