Crystal Palace have completed the signing of Ajax defender Borna Sosa to finally provide some competition for Tyrick Mitchell at left-back. Sosa, 27, will hope to recapture the form he showed during five seasons at Stuttgart, where he established himself as one of the best attacking full-backs in Germany.

Crystal Palacce has bolstered its squad with the signing of Borna Sosa, a Croatia international defender. The left-back has signed a three-year contract and is the Eagles’ second summer signing after goalkeeper Walter Benitez. Sosa started his career with Dinamo Zagreb in his native Croatia before moving to Stuttgart in 2018.
