DirecTV has a new streaming service called MySports available now with 40 channels including ESPN, Fox Sports and NFL Network in 24 cities.

The package’s announcement comes less than a week after Venu Sports — the joint sports streaming venture between Disney, Fox and Warner Bros. Discovery — announced it would not proceed.

DirecTV announced a sports-centered streaming bundle, MySports, aimed at attracting younger viewers. The bundle will initially offer 40 sports channels, including ESPN, Fox Sports, and TNT Sports, starting at $49.

DirecTV has made good on its plans to launch a sports and broadcast streaming package for less than its standard TV plans, but the savings aren’t enormous. The DirecTV Stream MySports plan costs $70 per month (with an extra $20 off for the first three months) and includes a mix of local broadcast channels,
