Square Enix could be gearing up to release its Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection on the Xbox store - marking yet another possible launch to come from its pre

The Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster headlines a bunch of classic Square Enix RPGs hitting Xbox today, September 26.

Square Enix’s Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters have made their way to Xbox. The classics, which arrived on PC and mobile in 2021 and Switch and PS4 last year, are now available for the Xbox Series X/S.

The entire Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster series, including updated versions of Final Fantasy 1-6, is now available on Xbox for the very first time! Check out this trailer for highlights form all of the classic games.

Square Enix have said they will adopt a multiformat strategy in the future, and it seems like they have already started.

Looks like the Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster collection is all but confirmed for Xbox, as a store front banner has surfaced online.

Trials of Mana and Legend of Mana are both available on Xbox today, and both are also available on Game Pass Ultimate and PC Game Pass (but not Game Pass Standard). Final Fantasy Pixel Remaster also comes to Xbox today, but won’t be on Game Pass.

Update: It's official! The Final Fantasy Pixel Remasters are available right now on the Xbox Store. You can either get them in a bundle or separately, and the best bit is that everything is discounted by 20% for the next week, meaning you can pick up some of the games from as cheap as £7.59 / $9.59 until early October.

Meanwhile, Square Enix's Trials of Mana and Legend of Mana are available on Xbox Series X and S, Windows PC, and Game Pass today. Visions of Mana launched on Xbox Series X and S earlier this year. And as already announced, Dragon Quest 3 HD-2D Remake has a November 14, 2024 release date. The new Tokyo Game Show trailer is below:
