Thousands of vehicles with model years between 2021 and 2024 may have connecting rod or crankshaft component problems.

General Motors has recalled vehicles across its Cadillac, GMC and Chevrolet brands due to potential issues that can lead to engine failure.

GM said the connecting rod and crankshaft may have defects that can damage the engine and may lead to engine failure.
