The Karnataka Lokayukta has filed an FIR against Chief Minister Siddaramaiah, his wife, and brother-in-law over allegations of corruption and land grabbing tied to the Mysore Urban Development Authority land allotment case.

According to the FIR filed in the Mysuru Lokayukta, CM Siddaramaiah has been named as Accused No. 1 (A1), his wife Parvathy as Accused No. 2 (A2), and Bamaida Mallikarjunaswamy as Accused No. 3 (A3). The case is based on allegations of irregularities and misuse of authority within MUDA during Siddaramaiah’s previous tenure as Chief Minister.

The Lokayukta police have filed a First Information Report (FIR) against Karnataka Chief Minister Siddaramaiah in connection with the Mysuru Urban Development Authority (MUDA) site allotment case.

Congress president M Mallikarjun Kharge, meanwhile, came to Siddaramaiah's defence, stating that the party is standing with him and will support him.

The FIR charges Siddaramaiah under multiple sections of the Indian Penal Code, including criminal conspiracy, public servant disobeying law, dishonest misappropriation of property, cheating, and more.

The FIR was filed according to the order by Special Court for People’s Representatives and names Siddaramaiah as accused 1, and his wife Parvathy as accused 2 and Bamaida Mallikarjunaswamy as accused 3.

In addition to Karnataka CM Siddaramaiah, the FIR, which was registered by the Mysuru Lokayukta police following a complaint by Mysuru RTI activist Snehamayi Krishna, also names his wife B M Parvathi,
