In his triumphant return to the event after a one-year absence, Joey Chestnut downed 70.5 hot dogs in 10 minutes to win the 2025 Nathan's Hot Dog Eating Contest, claiming his 17th Mustard Belt and taking his crown back in the July 4 contest he has dominated over the years.

The Fourth of July brings with it many traditions: fireworks, beach trips, cookouts, terrified dogs and, of course, the Nathan's Famous Hot Dog Eating Contest. As usual, the competition will be held on July Fourth at the original Nathan's Famous location on Coney Island in Brooklyn, New York.
