COLUMBUS, Ohio — Former Ohio State coach Urban Meyer has been inducted into the 2025 College Football Hall of Fame, the National Football Foundation announced Wednesday. Meyer spent seven seasons (2012-18) with the Buckeyes, collecting 83 wins to rank fourth in program history.

The Buckeyes eventually won by a 20-point margin, finishing the game up 41-21. It was a monster effort from wide receiver Jeremiah Smith and quarterback Will Howard. The defense stood strong consistently as well.

It was only a matter of time before Meyer found his place in the College Football Hall of Fame, and he learned that moment would soon come when ESPN’s "College Football Live" revealed the 2025 inductees on Wednesday. Shortly after the reveal, the Ohio State Buckeyes social media team shared the news.

Urban Meyer has heartfelt ties to both Ohio State and Notre Dame. The former Buckeye coach expects "an incredible game" in the CFP championship.
