Astronomer co-founder Pete DeJoy has stepped in to the role of interim CEO following Andy Byron's resignation in disgrace. Byron was caught on the "kiss cam" at a Coldplay concert last week, cozying up to Astronomer head of HR Kristin Cabot.
Pete DeJoy was announced as Astronomer's interim CEO on Saturday following a kiss cam scandal involving his former boss.
Astronomer's interim CEO Pete DeJoy said in an update that the startup had "received a level of media attention that few companies" ever encounter.
"The spotlight has been unusual and surreal for our team and, while I would never have wished for it to happen like this, Astronomer is now a household name,” said cofounder Pete DeJoy.
