The Harbor of Dreams Foundation was honored with the Charity Award and the JoAnn Martin Civic Leadership Award recognized the leadership and community service of Ava Thomas.

In 40 years as Kearney Cemetery supervisor, Steve Baye has overseen 5,000 burials, added 16 acres, built three columbariums and updated technology. He will retire June 13.
