The Perfect Couple showrunner Jenna Lamia and author Elin Hilderbrand are looking to team up again following the success of the Netflix limited series

The Elin Hilderbrand cinematic universe is growing after The Perfect Couple's success on Netflix. Hilderbrand and The Perfect Couple showrunner Jenna Lamia confirmed they are already working together to adapt another one of her novels.

Ending Explained, "The Perfect Couple" starts with a perfect wedding, but soon unravels into a shocking murder mystery.

Though The Perfect Couple on Netflix, along with the Elin Hilderbrand novel that inspired the show, takes place on the island of Nantucket, the series was mostly filmed in Cape Cod - which is just 30 miles away.

Based on the novel by Elin Hilderbrand, Netflix's The Perfect Couple follows Amelia, a bride-to-be who is marrying into an ultra-wealthy Nantucket family. When her best friend Merritt winds up dead after the wedding reception, everyone in the Winbury family becomes a suspect. Cue a classic whodunnit!

The Perfect Couple, published in 2018, is the third book in the Nantucket series, following earlier titles such as A Summer Affair and the newly released Swan Song.
