Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval will face Cory Bowman, the half brother of Vice President JD Vance, this fall after the pair were the top two vote-getters in Tuesday’s primary.

Cory Bowman will next face Aftab Pureval, the Democratic incumbent, who outperformed him in Tuesday’s nonpartisan primary.

Cincinnati Mayor Aftab Pureval and Republican challenger Cory Bowman will advance past the May 6 primary to the fall election. Unofficial results with all precincts in showed Pureval with 82.5% of the vote.
