Officials are investigating a fire inside Bodie Island Double Keepers ... the Double Keepers' Quarters was built in 1872 alongside the Bodie Island Lighthouse and its Oil House.

According to Cape Hatteras National Seashore, an employee at the Bodie Island Lighthouse’s retail store called 911 around noon on Tuesday after they saw smoke inside its double keeper’s quarters.
