Cubs trade pitcher Cody Poteet to Orioles, team announces

The Cubs designated Poteet for assignment on Thursday, only months after the club acquired him in the Cody Bellinger trade.
The former saw the Cubs send Cody Bellinger to the New York Yankees ... a move that saw them deal slugging third baseman Isaac Paredes, pitcher Hayden Wesneski and top prospect Cam Smith.
