Even though Daredevil's first costume is a bit different from his most classic look, with yellow sleeves under his red jumpsuit, his origins have remained mostly the same up to the present day.

While this was very likely never intended to be Daredevil’s primary suit for his MCU comeback, the yellow suit’s presence on She-Hulk nonetheless provided some fun comic book fan service.

Daredevil's suit and appearance in the show evoke the costume of the character in writer Charles Soule's run on Daredevil, which was first published in 2016.

This costume proved to be a winner, as he stuck with it for over six decades of fearless adventures (though he has recently changed to a white one). Daredevil's original costume was yellow in colour.
