Eminem’s music publishing company “Eight Mile Style” has sued a Metro Detroit Ford dealership due to copyright infringement in federal court over the alleged unauthorized usage of his hit song “Lose Yourself.

The lawsuit, filed by Eight Mile Style, says that videos published to the TikTok, Instagram, and Facebook accounts of LaFontaine Ford St. Clair in September and October 2024 used ‘Lose Yourself’ as a backing track and said interested shoppers would “only get one shot” to buy the special F-150 Hybrid, limited to just 800 units.

According to TMZ, Eminem’s hit song “ Lose Yourself ” is at the helm of a copyright infringement lawsuit.
