President Joe Biden was in his first term as senator for Delaware in 1977 at the time Carter was in office. Biden will be at Carter’s funeral Thursday morning to give a eulogy to the late 39th president.

President Joe Biden remembered late President Jimmy Cater at his national funeral, remembering his character. Jimmy Carter died in December at age 100. He was the 39th president of the United States.

Following the cathedral service, Carter’s remains will make their final journey back to Plains, the small Georgia town where his century-long life began and ended.
