Brazilian police say they thwarted a bomb attack planned for Lady Gaga's historic free concert in Rio de Janeiro, an event that drew more than two million attendees on Saturday.

Unidentified people were “virtually recruiting participants to carry out attacks” to gain online notoriety, according to the Rio de Janeiro Civil Police.
