BritBox International is serving up a crime procedural series using classic Italian cuisine as the basis for each episode’s murder mystery. A Taste for Murder will star BAFTA-winning Downton Abbey actor Phyllis Logan alongside Warren Brown (The Responder) and Cristiana Dell’Anna (Gomorrah).

BritBox, the streaming service founded by BBC Studios and ITV, has greenlit the six-part crime procedural "A Taste for Murder."

A Hannah Swensen Mystery, will premiere on Thursday, February 6, on Hallmark Mystery. In the sixth installment of the series, Sweeney is not only the star and executive producer, she also wrote the script.

Our Take: The Hannah Swensen mysteries are a usually winning combination of clever murder mystery and entertaining ensemble. Reality Bites still gives the ensemble plenty of fun stuff to do, but alas, the mystery here feels stretched thin and ultimately is so predictable that the climactic reveal simply seems like it takes forever to get to.
