Trump's tariff policies have rattled the stock market and raised fears of an economic slowdown, increased inflation and a global trade war.

The U.S. and Canada have been going back and forth over tariffs since President Donald Trump 's return to the White House on January 20. Trump had threatened tariffs over what he said was a lack of action by Canada, Mexico and China over the flow of fentanyl into the country.
