New data obtained by 8News through a public records request shows that thieves are stealing bottles from state-run Virginia Alcoholic Beverage Control Authority (ABC) stores with regularity.

Orders must be placed online at store 377, at abc.virginia.gov. Liquor shipping is not designed as a temporary measure during the coronavirus pandemic, says ABC spokeswoman Taylor Thornberg.
