The long-awaited Waterville Bridge opened Friday with an official ribbon-cutting and pedestrian walk across the span. After nearly two years of construction, this bridge is finally a reality.

ODOT is opening the new bridge Friday to anyone who would like to walk across. A ribbon cutting is scheduled for 11 a.m., and then the bridge opens to drivers around 2 p.m. Friday.
