CLEVELAND, OHIO (WSAU) — For the second night in a row the Cleveland Guardians shut-out the Milwaukee Brewers in Ohio. Tuesday it was a 2-0 decision as the Brewers were only able to manage three hits. Jose Ramirez homered for the Guardians.
The Guardians shut out the Brewers last night, 2-0. Logan Allen and three relievers combines to shut down Milwaukee allowing just three hits and but four baserunners all night. Milwaukee has been shut out on consecutive nights after scoring just ten runs the previous four games.
Cleveland's rotation has been stellar of late, producing a 0.67 ERA the past five games and a 2.47 ERA this month. It's something the Guardians will hope to maintain after putting right-hander Ben Lively on the 15-day injured list due to a right flexor tendon strain on Tuesday.
